Advancing Risk Assessment and Compliance with European Regulations

The workshop will cover the topics from problem formulation, different methodological approaches in risk assessment, latest advancements in regulatory toxicology, application of regulations and guidelines for different sectors, application of risk assessment in different chemical sectors, principles of risk management, risk perception and risk communication.

The workshop will give a platform to:

· Clarify current European regulatory frameworks (REACH, CLP, BPR, etc.);
· Address challenges in risk assessment and compliance processes;
· Promote networking between industry professionals, regulators, and researchers.

Learning objectives are to:

• understand the basic principles and methods used in risk assessment
• be able to interpret and assess a risk assessment report
• understand the application of risk assessment in different regulatory frameworks
• be able to perform a basic risk assessment using toxicological and exposure data
• be able to interpret data submitted for the purpose of registration and labelling of different types of chemicals

A certificate (in compliance with ERT certification) will be awarded upon the successful completion of the workshop tasks.
